We're born pre-disposed to inner peace. Somehow, we just lose it along the way.
Makes sense, right? Who else on the planet "sleeps like a baby" other than babies? They're just naturally so peaceful. Well, most of the time any how ;-)
So the question is: how do we get it back?
Well, here's my theory:
We don't "lose" it along the way. It gets "covered up" by stuff. Stuff like traumas... bad experiences... criticism...
Stuff that makes us stuff ourselves deep down inside.
So we stop expressing who we really are. Babies do it naturally. Whatever they're feeling - you're gonna know about it. But adults? We're mysteries. We've perfected our "poker faces".
So here's my advice to you:
Clear away the "blockages" to your inner peace by expressing what you really think and feel, at least one time a day.
You can do it when you're alone, with your significant other, or wherever you feel safe. I think you'll find something though:
It's addicting. After all, it's what we're naturally meant to do.
